Pastor Bimbo Odukoya Foundation (PBOF) was inaugurated in December 2005 to keep alive the works of the Late Pastor Abimbola Rosemary Odukoya.
In 1994, in obedience to God, Pastors Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya started the Singles Fellowship of The Fountain of Life Church. This fellowship, the first of its kind in Nigeria, soon drew many ingle men and women from different denominations and walks of life as Pastor Bim, as she was fondly called, dealt with issues such as dating, sex, marriage, interpersonal relationships, masturbation, submission etc, with a practical approach which was firmly rooted in the gospel of the Lord, Jesus Christ. The Singles Fellowship which started with a handful of young men and women from The Fountain of Life Church soon birthed the Single & Married Ministry, an interdenominational gathering of thousands of single men and women who sat under Pastor Bim’s teachings every week for eleven years.
Before her transition to Glory, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya was a much sought conference speaker within and outside Nigeria. Her weekly teachings were also being aired in sixteen stations within Nigeria as well as in Ghana, the UK and Canada. She also had a successful radio ministry and was a regular columnist in three national newspapers. The vision of PBOF is to provide a platform through which millions of people around the world would continue to be blessed by the timeless and ever-relevant messages preached by Pastor Bimbo Odukoya.
To achieve this, PBOF has a 7 point target:
- To ensure the continued airing of “Single & Married” on all existing channels where it is aired as well as open up new frontiers for the programme to be heard, with an aim to continue the nurturing and teaching of people, both single and married, biblical principles of building godly, happy, divorce-free marriages and empowering families.
- To provide a spiritual and financial support system for the education of indigent students who desire to pursue academic goals.
- To provide assistance to young women who have made poor choices with respect to relationships and have thereby gotten pregnant but now to choose to walk uprightly, particularly by refusing to abort the pregnancies.
- To keep Pastor Bimbo Odukoya’s already published works and messages in circulation, whilst developing her library of materials, other publications from her extensive work in her area of calling.
- To register a copyright of all her works in order to protect them.
- To sustain her existing network of partners and continuously raise new ones as a way of funding the goals of the foundation.
- To build wealth through investments for the foundation to sustain its work.
